The Comity folder contains maps of the fictional town of Comity NH. The topological background layer is hacked together from a dozen locations on real maps, to make someplace new.

I've tried to export every permutation of locations the players could discover, though I’ve also included the layered .xcf file I used to create them so you can modify it and export your own. This was my preferred system in the playthroughs I ran.

You'll see there are two backgrounds (white and green), a grid you can turn on to make identifying unnamed locations easier, two versions of the suspected sites (red dots and red property boundaries), two versions of the watershed delineations (arrows and red lines), and a layer which contains the contaminant plume moving through the groundwater. Do not show the contaminant plume to your players until after they've found the site. It's mostly to help you determine contaminant levels throughout the town if they test soil or water.

This file also includes a little crossed-swords icon I like to use to mark places where the players have gotten into a confrontation. You can copy and paste it wherever fits your campaign. I sometimes draw their progress in on a transparent layer Indiana Jones -style. My players seemed to appreciate the effort of customizing the map and I think it helps set some locations in their minds but it's not necessary.

If you would like a copy of the Fairer Way map to edit please reach out! I still have the file but it was made in two stages, and the version where you can easily change things has comparatively-faded colors which I improved once it was exported.
